For Ruben Loyola, embroidery has never been just about thread and fabric. It's about craftsmanship, building brands, and transforming creative ideas into something extraordinary.

His entrepreneurial journey began in 2001 with the founding of Loyola Sports, a venture specializing in custom headwear and apparel manufacturing. One of his early career milestones came in 2004, when he produced custom hats for the Miss Universe event in Quito, Ecuador. The opportunity to contribute to an internationally recognized event marked an important chapter in his growing experience in custom apparel production.

Ruben later brought his expertise to New York City's renowned Garment District, where he worked as an Embroidery Manager at a full-service design and manufacturing studio. There, he gained invaluable experience supporting high-end fashion production and working with prestigious brands including Ralph Lauren, Oscar de la Renta, Alexander Wang, DKNY, Marc Jacobs, and Coach.

From intricate embroidery techniques to the demanding standards of the fashion industry, those experiences shaped his commitment to precision, consistency, quality, and exceptional craftsmanship.

But his most meaningful business venture would begin far from the fashion runways of New York.

Together with his wife and Co-Founder, Viviana, Ruben began building Gaspar Stitch from their family garage in Wesley Chapel, Florida. With their personal savings, a single Brother PE800 embroidery machine, and a shared determination to succeed, they set out to transform years of industry experience into a business of their own.

What started as a modest home-based operation steadily grew into a trusted Tampa Bay embroidery and printing company, serving entrepreneurs, small businesses, corporate teams, organizations, and established brands.

Founded on the belief that professional embroidery should combine exceptional quality with honest pricing and personalized service, Gaspar Stitch has continued to evolve while remaining true to its family-owned roots.

Today, Ruben leads Gaspar Stitch's continued growth and expansion, including the development of its second Tampa Bay location in 2026. His vision is to bring together the craftsmanship and attention to detail of a premium embroidery studio with the accessibility, transparency, innovation, and personal service that every customer deserves.

Despite the company's growth, Ruben continues to believe that the most important part of the business isn't the equipment, the technology, or the number of orders produced. It's the trust customers place in Gaspar Stitch to represent their brands with care and professionalism.

Viviana's passion for embroidery and entrepreneurship began in 2007, when she founded her first embroidery studio in her home country. With creativity, determination, and a dedication to craftsmanship, she transformed her passion into a business, gaining valuable experience in custom embroidery and personalized products.

Years later, she brought that experience and entrepreneurial spirit to the United States, where she joined her husband, Ruben Loyola, in building Gaspar Stitch from their family garage. Starting with their personal savings and a single embroidery machine, they shared a vision of creating something much bigger.

As Co-Founder, Viviana has played an important role in shaping Gaspar Stitch's commitment to quality, attention to detail, and customer satisfaction. Her experience and passion for the craft remain part of the company's foundation.

Today, as Gaspar Stitch continues to grow across Tampa Bay and prepares to open its second location in 2026, Viviana's journey reflects the heart of the business: a passion that began in 2007, a dream built together, and a commitment to excellence stitched into everything we do.
